• This is our 6th Annual Contest

We started in 1999 from an idea of fellow Moosedogger Geri Bleau, who continues to be the driving force behind it. This is the primary fund raiser for the John Nelsen Moosedog Rescue Fund, (JNMRF) and as all time and labor are donated, 100% of monies raised go to support Norwegian Elkhound Rescue.

• To enter, just dress up your favorite

pet in a costume and send the picture to the webmaster . The cost to enter a picture is one US dollar for the picture and one US dollar for each animal in the picture, payable at the end of the contest. You may enter as many pictures as you wish and they will be accepted up to the last day of the contest. (Sept 30) Please include your name, a line describing the picture, and the names of the pets in the pictures.

• You many vote for as many pictures

as you wish and as many times as you wish. The cost is one US dollar per vote, due at the end of the contest. Voting is strictly on the honor system, so please don't vote if you do not plan to pay. At the end of the contest, the names of the pets and their owners will be revealed and the picture receiving the most votes will be featured on the main page of the Norwegian Elkhound Rescue page for the month of October.
